If you’re starting your blog hop here, or just hopping over from Jenna Da Sie, hi! I’m excited to be participating this week!
This weeks topic is given to us by S. C. Mitchell
Q: Think back to that day you first decided you were going to write a book/story. Tell us about what led you to start putting those first words on the page.
A: When I started writing my first book I was in the medical field. To say I hated my job is an understatement. Day in, and day out, all I saw was sadness… and I was tired of it. I’d always loved writing and my husband had been encouraging me to write a book and self-publish it. In the beginning, it was therapeutic – something to get my mind off my job. But as my story progressed, I realized how much I was enjoying it. Now, here I am almost three years and seven books later and I couldn’t be happier. I’m no longer in the medical field and I don’t miss it one bit. Sometimes life leads us down an unexpected path to something better. I’m not a big fan of change but this was the best one I could have ever made.
